This is the cast page for VC. What a crazy idea. Anyway, this page contains spoilers. You have been warned.
Zerin Myth'zin is an Asyrean who looks to be somewhere in her late twenties. She doesn't remember much of her past, and the common tongue isn't her first language. She's of no blood relation to Dyrien, Urien, or Xoluué. She seems to have known both Xoluué and Xyes, but their exact relationship is unknown. (First appearance on page 5.) |
Auriel is a Wyrkire that looks to be in his early thirties. He seems to have powerful, unnatural abilities as well as connections to many high-powered individuals throughout the Wyrkire city of Kidn'strum, such as Xyes, Kirien, Urien, and Lady Fayanne. (First appearance on page 6.) |
Dyrien Myth'zin is a M'zrakire of the Nifinaf'than tribe who is in his thirties. He has a flame-like tattoo on his forehead that, like his hair and eyes, matches the most common color of the desert sands. He seems to have a strong connection to the world around him and often predicts sandstorms long before others would have even noticed. He's the middle-child of the Myth'zin family. (First appearance on page 14.) |
Mourtin Graevs is a 24-year old Cetkire, a bounty hunter hired currently by Lord M'driekthoth. Often seen as unintelligent, clumsy, unlucky, and almost childish, he's also racist, arrogant, doesn't play well with animals or children, and can't speak the old language. He doesn't listen to his guide, Jyran, at all, making the matter of whether or not it was he who actually hired the M'zrakire as a guide questionable. He makes sure not to treat Jyran with any respect except when he's proven wrong and gets hurt in the process for doing something the M'zrakire warned him multiple times about. He also smokes and wears blue jeans, which means that probably he or his family is really rich, and that he is just some snotty little rich kid. (First appearance is in page 1.) |
Jyran D'olry is a 32-year old M'zrakire, a hired guide and servant of Lord M'driekthoth. Unlike his "boss," Jyran is intelligent and open minded, wise in the ways of animals, his kind, and the hundreds of ways that Mourtin might kill himself. He's almost more arrogant than Mourtin, but not by much, but at least has a reason for it, since he obviously knows a lot more about the world than the younger Cetkire does. Other than that, he's claims to have had a fairly normal life, and now is doing his duty as the guide and translator for all of Mourtin's business. But then again, the thought of who's really running their operation is somewhat up in the air. (First appearance is in page 1.) |
Urien Myth'zin is the captain of the Kidn'shtrum guard, as well as the youngest of the Myth'zin family, although he still appears to be in his thirties. He's very protective of the idealized images he has of both his brothers. Although while it's strange that a M'zrakire is in such a high-powered position, it doesn't seem to phase anyone. |
Xoluué Myth'zin is the mysterious eldest of the Myth'zin family. Not much is known about him except for he was once a very powerful person in the world, until the M'driekthoth family usurped his throne. He was a very good friend of Xyes, but his exact relationship to Zerin is unknown. He is presumed dead. |
Xyes is the ex-confidant of Xoluué Myth'zin and a friend of the family. However, he does seem to hold some sort of spite against the now-dead lord, thus making the contact between him and Urien rather tenuous at best. He's also rather flirtatious (even though he's married to Kirien) and upbeat. |
Kirien is the wife of Xyes, but not much else is known about her. She seems to recognize Zerin, but whether or not the pair know each other is kind of up in the air. |
Lady Fayanne is a teenage noble, but at this point, not much is known about her. She |
